Our Cultural Gala presents a vibrant celebration of artistic traditions from diverse Asian communities. Featuring elegant and exhilarating folk and traditional dances, complemented by historical and cultural music that blends traditional and contemporary arrangements.
A highlight of the evening is a violin performance of Racing Horse, an Inner Mongolia–inspired folk piece originally composed for the erhu. This interpretation brings a fresh perspective to a beloved work, capturing the energy and spirit of traditional horse racing.
The program also includes a performance featuring the Daf, a traditional Iranian frame drum known for its resonant tones and intricate rhythms, adding a powerful percussive dimension to the evening.
