In ancient Hawaii, hula and its chants played an important role in keeping history, geneology, mythology and culture alive. With each movement – a hand gesture, step of foot, swaying of hips – a story would unfold. In this workshop Kaumakaiwa Kanaka’ole will take you through a beginner workshop of this ancestral dance form.
