Three women standing close together against a white background

The Good Lovelies, a roots-pop trio, is made up of Caroline Brooks, Kerri Ough, and Susan Passmore — all guitar-wielding songwriters and queens of the goosebump-raising three-part harmony. Originating in Toronto, these talented ladies dabble in country, folk, jazz, pop, and even a little hip hop, always keeping listeners on their toes. The Good Lovelies’ poppy, danceable, yet beautiful tunes have a lyrical heart of gold, making their live performances a treat. Boasting nine critically acclaimed releases, a #1 single, and a JUNO Award, the Good Lovelies have amassed a devoted fanbase blanketing the globe.

Alongside their musical pursuits, the Good Lovelies are invested in green initiatives as well. “We have become increasingly conscious of our carbon footprint as a band and it’s challenging because we have to travel for a living,” Brooks says. To offset this, they launched a tree-planting campaign with a goal of planting 5,000 trees.

“Making music for a living is weird, but it’s also so much fun,” said Ough, and it’s clearly working for them: with such a long and successful career, it’s evident the Good Lovelies are one of Canada’s brightest musical lights.
