COVID-19 Measures

Keeping You Safe!

We are operating at full capacity and have a full schedule of live performance experiences waiting for you to enjoy.

Since the Province of New Brunswick lifted its mandatory order on July 30, individual organizations are developing and implementing their own policies and procedures to protect the health and safety of their employees and customers.

When attending an event at the Playhouse, you can feel safe and comfortable knowing that we are taking measures to protect you and our community.

Health Screening

Anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or advised by Public Health to self-isolate may not enter the Playhouse.

(If you are unable to attend for these reasons, please contact the box office at 458-8344 before the show for a refund.)

To attend an event, all patrons over 12 years of age must:

  • have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, the second of which was administered at least 14 days prior; or
  • be unable to receive COVID-19 vaccine for medical reasons.

Patrons must be able to show proof of vaccination or exemption upon entry. Along with your tickets, please bring your:

  • Government issued photo ID
  • Record of vaccination or letter of medical exemption (original, scan, photo, or results from an official online service, i.e., MyHealthNB.ca). Records may be provided on paper or on your phone.

(If you purchased tickets before August 16, 2021 and are unable to attend because of your vaccination status, please contact the box office for a refund.)

Community face masks must be worn in the Playhouse. While we recommend you keep it on as much as possible, your mask may be removed while in your seat in the auditorium. However, patrons under 12 years and those who are medically exempt from vaccination must wear masks at all times.

Hand Hygiene

All patrons are asked to sanitize their hands upon entry.

Cleaning and Disinfection

All high touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected frequently by our team.

Contact Tracing

We collect contact information for every party and, upon request, may securely transmit it (along with seat locations) to Public Health officials for contact tracing purposes.

Note: As the situation evolves, so will our policies and procedures. These policies are subject to change without notice.
