The Playhouse is continually working to provide a program of activities and strategies that will increase community access and enrichment in conjunction with Spotlight performances. We invite you to take a look at our upcoming activities by clicking on the series links below.

In Conversation is a series of post-show artist talks designed to add depth and richness to your live performance experience. Highlighting the
creative process, come talk to featured musicians, playwrights or choreographers. Complimentary tickets include a glass of wine and are available in limited number to those who purchase tickets to the performance. Located at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. Call the box office for information.

With a focus on dance, our Master Class Series partners professional artists with Fredericton’s aspiring dancers to provide rich artistic expression, technique and discipline. Registration is required. Participation criteria will apply.

A series of innovative workshops and enrichment activities that place in conjunction with Spotlight Series performances. This season, come and learn about the destruction of Africville, try your hand at a traditional Iroquoian dance, taste the finest Scotch, or pick up that uke you’ve been meaning to learn to play. This exciting series has a wide range of activities designed to inspire the artist in us all. Locations vary.

The Fredericton Playhouse offers a School Programming Series that provides schools with the opportunity to experience the rich offerings of music, theatre and dance. Programming takes place both on stage through the Bus-in Series, and off-site through the Beyond the Stage program. With a mandate to provide arts-rich programming opportunities for students, study guides and curriculum tie-ins help teachers teach outside the classroom.
