The debut work from New Brunswick aboriginal artist-turned-playwright Samaqani Cocahq (Natalie Sappier) of Tobique First Nation.

New Brunswick aboriginal artist Natalie Sappier makes her playwriting debut with Finding Wolastoq Voice, a powerful dance-theatre hybrid performance that explores the personal discovery, identity and culture of a young Wolastoqiyik woman awakened by the sounds of her ancestors.

Please be advised that this performance contains mature subject matter.

Sunday, March 11 at 2pm will be a Pay What You Wish performance.

Theatre New Brunswick is offering a few “Pay What You Wish” opportunities on select performances. Here’s how it works:

You still need a ticket. Book your seats in advance by calling the box office at 458-8344 or visiting 686 Queen Street. If you don’t book in advance, tickets will be available at the door, although seating may be limited.

At the performance, we will provide an opportunity for audience members to anonymously pay whatever amount they wish (based on their own individual experience) following the performance.

The objective of “Pay What You Wish” is to increase access to our programs, and to encourage our patrons to take a chance on new and exciting performances.
