TorQ takes a hands-on approach to discuss musical concepts of ensemble listening, playing without a conductor, musical expression and phrasing, and improvisation. Concepts are openly discussed with the participants and then short activities are used to exercise the discussion.

Whether it’s a quarter pulled from behind your ear or relentless practicing to find your card – this one hour workshop with professional magician, Mike Super, will teach the basics of magic, from the simple 'disappearing coin' and sleight of hand techniques, to more advanced tricks such as the 'cut and restored rope' to 'The Rising Ring'.   Ages 6+.

Tango Workshop

The dancers from Spotlight on Tango come together with their unique backgrounds and exceptional techniques to demonstrate the attractive and powerful characteristics of Tango.  This workshop explores the technical aspects of the dance with special emphasis on the basic elements: lead and follow weight changes, pivots, turns, etc. This class is for dancers who have taken at least one year of classes.
