Hometown crooner David Myles’ sincere songwriting and warm, joyful performance style have made him an increasingly in-demand musician across the country. His versatile genre-bending style effortlessly straddles jazz, blues, folk and pop, with smart, heartfelt lyrics that address the human condition. David won the International Songwriters Competition in 2008, beating out several thousand entries from around the world. He was also chosen by the CBC to represent New Brunswick in the Great Canadian Song Quest in 2009, for which he penned the ode to his home province, “Don’t Drive Through”. Already a multiple ECMA-winner, David added a Juno to his trophy cabinet this past year, for his co-write of the Classified smash-hit “Inner Ninja.” The single was certified at 4x Platinum, making it the bestselling hip hop song in Canadian history. 2013 also brought great success in the form of David`s sixth studio album, In The Nighttime.
