The New Brunswick Country Showcase is a non-profit organization that features several annual performances by many of the province’s best country artists. The Playhouse acts as home base for the Showcase, providing local artists with a professional venue to display their diverse talents. A wide range of New Brunswick performers participate in the Showcase, from established country artists who have gone on to enjoy successful music careers to up-and-coming artists aspiring to break out into New Brunswick’s popular country music scene. Much of the proceeds from the Showcase are donated to charities, most recently to the IWK Children’s Hospital.
